My First Teams Meeting
I had a Zoom call with Smile Oregon to talk about Riley’s Mini Makers.
Before the call, my dad was helping me practice. Right before it started, I told him, “I’ve got this. You can just sit in the background printing things.”
On the call, I shared my idea for my company and talked about why I want to donate a percentage of my profits to Smile Oregon. I want my business to help other kids too.
I was nervous, but it went really well. I felt proud speaking for myself and sharing something that matters to me.
Bye, have a good day,
Riley

My Idea for a company!
Earlier in the summer I had seen some girls selling homemade bracelets at the park and thought it would be fun, plus I always loved seeing 3D printed toys at the farmers markets. So on January 16, 2026, I went to Dad and said, “I want to start a company selling 3D printed things.” I had been printing a lot. Like all the time. I liked making things and watching them print. Dad said okay, and that’s how my company started. I’m glad I asked.
Bye, have a good day.
