My Story

Hi, I’m Riley. I’m seven years old, a cleft cutie, and I started Riley’s Mini Makers.

I got a 3D printer for Christmas because I love making things and would go crazy every time I saw a 3D printer pop up at a farmers market. Three weeks after Christmas, I went to Dad and said I wanted to start a company, so we did.

I was very focused. I was always talking about business ideas, like how every purchase should come with a free sticker, or how we could give some of our profits to Smile Oregon. Less than a month later, we launched.

I’ve been using AI for over a year to help dream up ideas, make posters, and now design my characters. I tell it what I want things to look like, and it helps me explore ideas and make them better. I also use it to help write my social posts and build this website. Come on, I’m seven. I need some help.

Riley’s Mini Makers is about making fun things, learning how to run a company, and doing pop ups at fun places like farmers markets, my favorite parks around Oregon, and selling online. I wanted to spread joy and give back, so a percentage of our profits go to Smile Oregon.

I’m excited to see where this goes and what I can build as a young entrepreneur. I just learned what that word means.
